These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Realz mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. About Realz

Realz is a system designed to help users create and share verifiable images.

When you capture an image using Realz:

• The image may be processed to generate a cryptographic proof.
• A verification page may be created for public verification.
• Metadata necessary for verification may be stored.

Realz provides tools for verifiable capture and integrity verification.

Realz verifies the integrity of capture data, but does not guarantee the truthfulness or authenticity of captured content or events.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Realz.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

To use Realz, you must create a user account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Notify us of unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity occurring under your account.

4. Content You Capture

You retain ownership of images you capture using Realz.

By using the Service, you grant Realz permission to:

• Process images to generate verification proofs.
• Store images and necessary metadata for verification purposes.
• Display verification results on public verification pages when content is shared.

Storage of images and metadata may be necessary to support future verification requests or integrity checks within the system.

You may delete your images at any time through the Service.

Realz does not claim ownership of your images.

5. Public Verification Pages

If you choose to share a Realz image:

• A public verification page may be created.
• This page may include verification metadata.
• The page may remain accessible even if the image itself is deleted.

If a proof is revoked or deleted, the verification page may display a message such as:

“Deleted by owner”

This helps preserve the integrity and transparency of the verification system.

6. Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the images and content you capture and share.

You agree not to use Realz to:

• Violate applicable laws.
• Harass or harm others.
• Distribute illegal content.
• Impersonate others.
• Create misleading claims about verification.

Realz may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the Service.

7. Deletion and Revocation

Users may delete images from their account.

When an image is deleted:

• Stored image files may be removed.
• The verification proof may be revoked.
• The public verification page may indicate that the proof was revoked.

Revocation ensures transparency and prevents reuse of proof identifiers.

8. Availability of the Service

Realz is provided “as is”.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted availability.
• Permanent storage of images.
• Compatibility with all devices.

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAPSDEVELOPMENT AS is not liable for:

• Misuse of captured images.
• User-generated content.
• Decisions made based on verification results.
• Indirect or consequential damages.

Realz provides verification tools, not guarantees of truth.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
